About Starlink Switch USA

Updated 2 min read By Starlink Switch USA

Starlink Switch USA is a small, independent US website built for a single task: helping households move from HughesNet, Viasat, DSL or 5G home internet to Starlink in the right order, without a week offline or a month paid twice.

What the site covers

A switch has more moving parts than the order itself. There is the old contract and its exit fee, the leased equipment and its return deadline, the landline number that has to move before anything is cancelled, the spot where the new dish will go, and the evenings of testing before the old service ends. We lay those out as a route, provider by provider, with the dates that matter and the calculators to work them out.

Who is behind it

Starlink Switch USA is a small independent publisher in the United States. It isn’t part of, or approved by, SpaceX, Starlink, Hughes, Viasat, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon or any other company the pages discuss, and none of them reviews what we write. Company and product names on the site refer to those companies’ own services.

How facts get onto a page

  • Read at the source. Prices, fees and rules come from the provider’s or regulator’s own pages, filings and terms, and each one prints the date we read it.
  • One yardstick. Every comparison gives both sides the same rows and the same kind of source.
  • A reason to stay, every time. Each switching page says when keeping your current service, or waiting, is the better call.
  • Nothing invented. No reviews, quotes, testimonials or personas, and no test results we haven’t run.

Where the money comes from

The only income is Starlink’s referral reward. Buttons labelled as referrals send you to starlink.com through the site owner’s personal referral; when a first-time customer orders there and qualifies, Starlink credits that customer and the owner. No other provider pays us. The full details sit on our money page.

When we get something wrong

We re-read sources on a schedule and correct a page as soon as a source shows it is out of date. A corrected page gets a new “Updated” date. Our corrections policy explains what changes and how it is shown.

Checking method: each price, fee and rule here links to the provider’s or regulator’s own page, dated the day we read it. No internet provider pays for a place on this site; the only income is the Starlink referral explained on our money page. Our fact-checking · How we make money · Corrections
